The territory that draws the Abruzzo vineyard is characterized by gentle hills not far from the sea, where the Montepulciano vine expresses itself at its best, with a robust, fruity, spicy and deep. Montepulciano, together with Sangiovese, represents the cardinal vine from which many of the best red wines of central Italy are born.

Even Pecorino and Passerina, typical vines of Abruzzo, give rise to fresh, structured wines and, especially if obtained from Pecorino, they have excellent structure and alcoholic strength. Some municipalities also find space for Merlot, Chardonnay, Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon, which are expressed in quality monovarietal wines within the DOC denomination.

Abruzzo is one of the most pristine regions in Italy, the territory is covered for one third of the surface by hills and two thirds by mountains, and the wines of this region reflect full this rural character.
