From the first vineyard purchased way back in 1882, the Cantina di Comiso grows and becomes more and more structured, until the first harvest in 1980.
The Demostene Winery has two objectives:
- To inextricably link wine to its territory of origin.
- To preserve the environmental and natural potential of one’s land.For this reason, for its organic wines, it only uses natural energy thanks to the photovoltaic installation. Furthermore, it has adopted shrewd and measured techniques, respecting and safeguarding the environment and its biodiversity, according to the principles of the integrated pest management system.
Avide is part of the ARIWINE circuit because it has a choice of wines that are expressive and reflect an increasingly appreciated regional identity, where quality goes hand in hand with passion.
