Lazio is a region in central Italy where excellent wine has always been produced since ancient times. With more than 25,000 hectares of vineyards, Lazio has a particular vocation for white wines but there is no shortage of good red and rosé wines.

Among the black grape varieties, the most important autochthonous grape is Cesanese, which is the basis of wines of absolute excellence.

The white wines are obtained above all with Malvasia and Trebbiani, including Malvasia Bianca Lunga, Malvasia Bianca di Candia, Malvasia del Lazio.
